now we know, numerous times, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano has mentioned how he has interned for Alexander McQueen. i just recently started following him on twitter, and decided to take a gander on his website. looking at his S/S 2010 collection, i noticed something very interesting.
Christian Siriano S/S 2010
Alexander McQueen S/S 2010
VERY SIMILAR PRINTS, and the shapes carry the same/similar ideas. this happens a lot with other brands (Balmain/Pucci right NOW Dior/McQueen etc.) i don't know whether it's a good or bad thing in the fashion world, but it is nice seeing two different extremes of a specific color pallet/shape.
bye.

Great highlight! It'd surely go straight pass me, if I were to take notice. As for my preference though, as much as I love and worship McQueen, I would have to pick Siriano's collection on this one simply because they're more wearable... McQueen's are more artsy and gorgeous to look at and drool over, but that's as far as it goes...
Just my lil two cents :)
