what do you guys think? like ? dislike? i personally love it, especially the picture of the model in the Gucci baithing suit. click here to read about the groundbreaking issue.

Just because we are celebrating the incorporation of "plus size" models into the industry doesn't necessarily mean that we have to throw out the rule of "dressing for your body type". This is definitely the case in the first image.
Well, I don't know---I'm a fashion designer and it is something totally different designing for 'plus' sized women. Sending something down the runway that's hung on a rail always looks better unfortunately. Plus, higher end brands just do not have the market in the plus size world so that is why they do not make plus sizes. I'm torn, part of me thinks it's unfair but part of me thinks that clothes just look better on slimmer frames. Don't hate please!!!

Love this! Much of America is a size 12, so why not represent it? Great job V Mag!

I hate the fact the plus size models have to be put in a "plus size issue," it should be the norm. I love the images and the models look so beautiful.

I don't know...I want to like it, but I've been so conditioned to conventional models that I can't...
