Okay, so we all know the new news, Sarah Burton is Alexander McQueen's new creative director. I don't have much to say on this topic, she is the perfect choice, being that she has been McQueen's first assistant for the past 10+ years, in addition to converting a majority of the RTW into commercial pieces and managing the Fall 2010 show when the pieces were at 80% completion. She is the ideal choice, and with the Spring 2011 show coming up, It would be rude for critics and fashion folk to treat the upcoming collection any different. So please, hold the fuck off with the " It won't be the same without McQueen". Thats true, but she was there right by his side when he was alive.
