DAFT PUNK STYLE

So I've always been a fan of Daft Punk since I was a teenager. I pretty much have all their albums and love their early use of electronic music. It always breaks the mold and takes electronic music to a new level. Even their new work featuring Kanye West for his new album is absolutely unexpected and even though it boasts on more of the rocker side, songs such as " I Am a God" with the electronic sounds and details really brings back the same sound I always loved.

I do like their most recent album Random Access Memory, but not as much as I love Discovery or Homework (totally getting nerdy on you guys). The most interesting thing that intrigues me about them is their personal style, and how in the HELL they've been able to remain incognito for such a long time. When they started out in the late 90's, their style was pretty raggedy and normal, with a multitude of different masks and disguises. Then they switched their normal getup for bodysuits and electronic helmets with lights, and the rest his history. LED FX, the company responsible for crafting their helmets, tend to influence the sleek suiting they choose to pair up with their elaborate yet simple disguises. When you think about it, Daft Punk here probably were the original Gaga's. So even though most of us probably don't have LED FX on speed dial, how can we look just as cool?

( MUST HAVE!Leather jackets with hoods are so rare. Plus, Neoprene and Leather just sounds phenomenal. )

(As close to the helmets as you're gonna get.)
