SO... H&M really hit us with a surprise by opening up their e-commerce shopping website in the US earlier this week. I've been waiting for this moment for quite some time now ( i have no idea why but why not) and I'm excited its finally here. Now supposedly the site has already gotten mixed reviews, but I think this is gonna be a HIT for H&M.
Oh yes, with the big capital oversized letters in bold. Primarily because this will give people across the country (and especially in NY) the opportunity to jump on those $5 t-shirts, $7.95 dresses, $10 cardigans, $15 bomber jackets, and $20 shoes that we see in the super cool ads and are gone within the first 5 minutes of the store opening Already shopping on the site, I'm seeing all those pieces at those great prices they advertise, still fully stocked, and i'm sure it will result in great numbers for their business. Even better is their inclusion of their home collection, which isn't in H&M stores (yet). It should give them a good test dummy to gauge what they should stock in their stores when that time arrives. What I'm very interested to see is how this is going to play when the Isabel Marant collaboration comes out. Below are my 3 picks, 1 for the girls, one for the guys, and one for your home.
