Now I've seen the Ralph Lauren Soft Ricky bag and I was always on the fence about it due to the colors that were available but this collaboration has me looking at it COMPLETELY different. The touch of blue on the sides of the bag give it a nice pop of color and a very unique appeal.  Both in the Black/Blue White/Blue, the closures and straps are almost reminiscent of a treasure chest, neatly done to fit the design of a handbag. my fashion week wishlist.

SO. Fashion week is coming, and I'm really going all out this season, wearing a lotta cute accessories and winter must haves ( Dr.Martnes ). Of course, working at H&M helps, but heres some things I would DIE to have.

SO. If you have been FOLLOWING ME ON TWITTER  you would know that I had a interview ( well two ) at GQ Magazine for my third internship. YES I like to plan ahead, and this weekend at work (Macys Herald Square, Lacoste Section) I've been thinking of this idea to wear 40 OUTFITS to GQ. I'm sick of being the workhorse intern and slaving going on runs from Earth to Pluto while the other interns get to sit and look pretty. SO. Being that GQ seems really selective with their internship process and they get more responsibilities, which would essentially mean less runs and more office time, why not spend a ridiculous amount of money to look really nice. Even though this is TOTALLY bad being that I'm saving up so I can move to the city in November-December.

So my plan is to have 40 outfits. Probably just 40 shirts + 3 jackets. As I told a friend today, "I'm trying to outdo Emily Weiss" LOL. Well here's some ideas that I saw around the store and a few other stores, I'll keep you updated on how well my 40 outfit plan goes, even though 40 outfits and my wallet are in very much disagreement right now.

- WHAT THE FUCK COCO PEREZ? DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO TALK ABOUT PHOTOSHOP AND THE INDUSTRY? ALL YOU BLOG ABOUT IS HOW THIS IS PHOTOSHOPPED THAT IS PHOTOSHOPPED; GET THE FUCK OVER IT! YOUR WHOLE FUCKING WEBSITE IS PHOTOSHOPPED IF YOUD DIDN'T KNOW, YOU DUMBASS!
-Still grieving over the May 2010 cover of US Vogue. CMANNNN ANNA WHY SJP?
- Ill have some reports for you guys on Guess and Roxy, two brands I'm previewing their new stuff this week/next week.
- Today there was a editors panel featuring Amy O' Dell from The Cut, Seventeen, and many other magazines. They discussed about how online and media is growing and affecting the industry. Some of the topics were TV, and how while some magazines like the partnership between Seventeen and ANTM are positive and do great for the magazine, others like STYLISTA and Elle don't do so well, and shows like The City in efforts to make people forget about stylista just makes it worse. So true. Allegedly, editors in the offices at Elle aren't very fond of the show being there.
- Menswear week is in a few months! BRING IT ON S/S 2011 !
- Bridal fashion week is in effect, shoutout to ODLR!!!!!
- Ralph Lauren is set to open his Paris flagship in a 17th century townhouse this week.

UPGRADES! / Ad MADNESS.

                     So,  I've been reading all of your comments, emails, etc. and because I've been contacting a lot of showrooms and PR offices in preparation for Fashion Week, and I'm taking a lot of your suggestions into fruition. One of them, as you can see is CAPS! =) Many don't like the "bye." phrase at the end of my post, so we will hold off on that for a little bit; if you have any suggestions to what we should replace it with, shoot me with an email. This shot is amazing. Katia, Valentina and Chanel all look simple, natural and relaxed in this shot. The clothes look great too, and they picked the perfect shade of green to contrast with them.

The Chanel S/S 2010 ads have shocked me. By that, meaning In the best way possible. It is AMAZING how the clothes change in tone, theme, and mood under the more demure, scenic themes that the ad campaigns provide compared to the barnyard funhouse theme of the fashion show.

These new DKNY ads give a huge SPLASH of Upper East Side NYC Luxury. The models are wearing the right outfits to go with the flowers, and the shot of the buildings in the background gives off a very Gossip Girl feel.

With all these new ads, women may find a new love. Couture........shoes.......magazines?
