REVIEW: Christian Siriano really took note to the critics review of his last collection, starving for maturity and a departure from the "fierceness". White high waisted pants, blouses and comfortable jackets were at the forefront of this collection. The standouts were the shoes, with steel, wood, and other materials on the heel, representing the influences of various cultures. The finale gowns were unbelievable, with tulle exploding out of the models, as well as the business wear covered with stylish prints for the workwoman who's trying to avoid the boring striped suit. My only wish is that he had the high waisted trousers floor length. They were cut right at the shoe, to show them off, but floor length could have added even more extravagance to the collection. Overall it was really great, and I'm always pleased to receive the invite.
