FIRST IMPRESSION: BALENCIAGA LE DIX BAG

In Forest Green

So for Alexander Wang's first handbag for Balenciaga, he chose to go for a more classic design creating the "Le Dix", a doctors bag style handbag with minimal hardware treatment and what seems to be a multi functional handle. From the look of it the hardware on the top holds in place crab claws to remove the longer shoulder strap, giving you the option to wear it both over the shoulder or with your hand. It also comes with a nifty little tag to the side, which I'm hoping would be customizable (W.L.W. anyone?). Overall, the design is very simple and minimalist, and looks very functional. Now only to get a better look INSIDE, but I guess we'll have to wait -_-.

Overall, i think this is a GREAT bag for Balenciaga, a nice departure from that Le Dix Motorcycle bag which as much as it was super casual and probably meant for the woman going through the everyday hustle and bustle, didn't visually look the best IMO due to the soft, worn look of the leather mixed with the hardware and zip compartments on the front. Maybe theres a re-working of that bag in progress, but until then lets wait and see what other colors Le Dix will come in. As long as we don't get something like this, I'm sure we'll be rushing to Balenciaga for what they have to offer.
