-------------- So, I'm finishing my summer internship next tuesday, and I'm starting GQ the following thursday. A lot of changes! I'll let you guys know where I spent my summer at WEDNESDAY MORNING save the date! Its been a really crazy summer, with coffee runs, pickups, returns, boards, and lookbooks, but I finally finished it and I'm so happy to god that I'm done with this internship and move on once again to another publication.

--------------- Schools starting again in september, so Im pretty excited for that. More graphic design, photoshop, etc.


-------------- I'm in talks for two internships after GQ, so we're planning those two things right now.

---------------------- On Wednesday I'm having lunch with a photographer to discuss a VERY SPECIAL project I want to collaborate on.  I'll be in charge of STYLING this whole project, so I'm really excited to be working on a really big project for the first time as a stylist. More details next week.

hey guys, and welcome to the faindent. your gonna have a lot of fun reading this blog, as i will posting it. im currently a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, a intern at a top fashion magazine, and a graphic design student ( at FIT). this means that ive got a lottttttt to share with you on my climb to the top. theres always intresting things going on, and hey, why not share it with the world. so lets get started.....(p.s. don't worry about punctuation, life is too short for capital letters and grammar grannies =p)

so today is my 3rd?4th? ok w.e. day at my internship. im currently a fashion intern, and its a lot of work but its definetly worth it. ive bumped into a few nice things (anyone say mcqueen armadillo shoes?) and its definetly a intreresting enviorment. some of the things these editors get as gifts are just insane.

FIT ( abbreviated Fashion Institute) is definitely an experience. it is pretty much like the fashion industry in high school form, and yes i said high school form not college. theres so much drama, its like the real world on crack. everyones skinny, smokes, and swears they are the next big thing. which works in some cases. but not when your in class -______-. its definitely a good school for connections, ive already done fashion shows for fashion week, and made some connections that can be essential for me working the shows next season. hopefully.

so yeah, im a graphic design student. so what the hell am i doing in fashion ? well i love graphics and fashion so i aspire to be an art director for a fashion magazine. i swear i have the largest VOGUE collection ever. and all i do is look at the layouts and fashion editorials. i love it. especially the art direction of paris vogue. heres actually the screensaver on my mac.

they always have amazing art direction. and i love US VOGUE 's use of red. kind of reminds me of lipstick. idk why....
