For $190, this is a INSANE steal for what i must say is a very strategically designed sneaker. Usually most exotic or hairy textures on sneakers are a mix between the hair and smooth leather. Instead of going that route, Creative Recreation just COATED the sneaker entirely in Pony-hair, and to make things more interesting, slapped a transparent sole that gives it an EXTREMELY expensive and unique look to it, that can be worn with just about anything. Will DEFINITELY be purchasing these, I just hope they don't shed :|.

THE TOP 5 SNEAKERS FROM KITH NYC

     So I stumbled upon (literally) this website that totally mimics my personal style off work. The store, KITH is conveniently located in Soho (problem for me -__-) right next to my job. Surprisingly, I've passed by this store many times, and I feel like at one time I even went inside a few years back, however I NEVER saw or knew they had such a unique array of sneakers and brands. Most similar to Tres Bien Shop with an american twist, Kith carries very offbeat and unusual designs from brands such as Nike, Giuseppe Zanotti, New Balance and others. Even their own clothing brand, has this phenomenal looking pant called the Mercer (chuckles) pant, however they're all COMPLETELY sold out. Not sure if the hands of god are part of the manufacturing process, but I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on a pair after I purchase my first pair of kicks from here.

                From the SECOND I laid my eyes on these, I HAD to have them (and ended up buying them last week :D). I don't believe it's actual snake, but for the price its definitely worth it. In person it has phenomenal snake-print details and the rubber cap toe and sole has a worn look to give off the Varvatos look. The scales are etched on, so I'm sure as time progresses they'll slightly peel to give off a more snake feel. Perfect for ANY wardrobe, and for the price. They also have them here in a dark snakeskin.

MY 3.1 PHILLIP LIM X TARGET WISHLIST

            I don't think I've EVER been so excited for such a collaboration since the LANVIN X H&M collaboration ( which was short lived since I worked at H&M and had to deal with the crazy antics of those killing to own a piece). It looks like such a stylish collection, and the ad campaigns in magazines are definitely presenting the collection as essential pieces by dividing it into a morning, noon and night story. What appeals to me the most is the styling, since when worn together, the looks create really interesting lines and shapes and the details become more apparent. Below are my three picks, and you can click here to stay updated on the collection when it releases on September 15th. I never knew why my city decided to plop a Target down the block from my house, but obviously now I know they were thinking about me :D.

   So, two new collaborations are on the way to atoners store near you. The first is the Chuck Taylor All Star San Francisco Moments collaboration (thats a lot of "title"). Detailing some of the most historic moments in the city of San Fran (the Gold Rush being on the bottom and the 1906 earthquake on the top), the collection evokes a very handmade, original feel, and I'm getting attached to the Gold Rush style already. The best part about this collaboration is 100% of the proceeds goes to Compass Family Services, helping underprivileged families in San Francisco.
